Navigating cost-effective access solutions for painting and building maintenance of low and medium rise buildings can be a tricky proposition due to strict WH&S working at heights legislation. The use of scaffolding is an expensive method of obtaining access but many building and strata managers are unaware that there are many other options available.

At Access Pro Solutions, we consider all available methods of access to provide the most cost-effective solution for your specific building. We are the height access specialists.

Recently, we were contracted to complete a full building wash and paint of a four-storey site in Broadbeach. After a site inspection, we decided to use a combination of scaffold (an access tower on a sheer wall to provide rooftop access), an Elevated Work Platform (knuckle boom) to complete works on the street front elevation, as well as rope access to the rear and opposite sides. The combination of these methods saved time which in turn resulted in a more cost effective and less intrusive outcome for the client.

Before you lock in any paint or maintenance work via a specific method of access, let the team at Access Pro Solutions assess your site and building to come up with the best method to save you money while fully complying with all appropriate WH&S legislation.
